For a number of years the band has been invited to Ascot Racecourse – on premier race days including the Christmas meeting, and in 2009 and 2010 during the week of Royal Ascot – playing in either the main grandstand or its adjacent bandstand or in a bandstand in the Silver Ring.
Most but not all charity concerts are admission by pre-paid ticket. An exception is the band's annual free-entry Christmas charity concert in Windsor Parish Church.
